Combining the delights of the River Eden and the excellent location of Warwick Hall the beat is considered one of the most famous on the river. The fishing at Warwick Hall is divided into two beats, Park Beat and Top Beat each providing fishing for three rods.

The pools are generally easy to fish and contain some of the best fly water on the Eden, together with deeper pools suitable for spinning. Some of the water is fly only at certain heights.

In recent years the summer and autumn have provided the most prolific fishing, with the spring increasingly improving.
