Staying at Warwick Hall will put you in the centre of a variety of local golf courses. You'll be spoiled for choice - here's some useful information to help you decide.

Carlisle Golf Club

• 18 holes. Par 73. About a mile from Warwick Hall.
• An old course which deserves its reputation for quality.

Eden Golf Club

• (a)18 holes. Par 72. About 2 miles away.
• (b)9 holes. Par 36.
• Two new courses on the banks of the River Eden, both beautifully
• landscaped. An 18 hole championship
• course and its 9 hole companion - Hadrian's Course.
• First class instruction by Senior PGA Pro Steve Harrison.
• Especially good programme for young golfers and other
• learners.

Brampton Golf Club

• Brampton Golf Club 18 holes. Par 72. About 5 miles away.
• A challenging small course, with views north to Scotland.
• Short, sharp hills will keep you fit and keep you interested.

Penrith Golf Club

• 18 holes. Par 69. About 20 miles south of Warwick Hall.
• What a location! Views to the Lake District to die for and
• classic old fashioned golf on this very pretty course.

Silloth Golf Club

• 18 holes. Par 72. About 20 miles to the west of us.
• This is the old dowager Queen of Cumbria Golf courses.
• A famous seaside links course that charms, seduces, and
• demands your very best efforts.

Appleby Golf Club

• 18 holes. Par 68. About 30 miles, but all motorway.
• Very pretty, not too easy, not too hard - this is a
• well loved course.

Kendal Golf Club

• 18 holes. Par 70. A 45 minute drive - not sure how far - a good
• choice for a day's outing in the Lake District.

Keswick Golf Club

• 18 holes. Par 71.About 30 minute drive on fast roads.
• The views will console you if this challenging course
• makes too many demands.
